So after this weekend fiasco and going to 10 different stores, I was able to be the first person online at Apple store in Huntington Station Mall here on Long Island, they only had the 8GB iPhone 3Gs, but I was already ok with that, as long as I can get one. After giving my phone number and checking my account she got an IRU error, and told me that I have a discount on my ATT account and due to that I have to visit ATT store and purchase it there or take my discount off. 28% Discount…. no way. So ATT store is my only option and since all the stores in Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, NYC, NJ areas are all out of the phones, I`m stuck. There is an opton of Direct Fullfilment, which means I order it now in the store, pay for it and wait 10-21 days to get it as its on backorder now. I will be looking for it till Friday and then I will do the direct fullfilment thing then. Very Sad news for me

Should of stayed in line, could of had an iPhone….No Luck yesterday ATT store ran out and Apple stores had lines for hours…. Well there is always today.  

Well all wish me luck, I`m heading out to the store now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well,

As it comes out I will be off on July 11th and I will be at my local ATT store getting the 3G iPhone, but just to let you know, if there is a line of more then 10 people, then I`m leaving (for another store near me and then maybe on to an Apple store )

Well after a very long wait, we finaly see the product, but we have to wait again to get it

Well if you been leaving under a rock for the past, well always….. You would not know that there is a WWDC on Monday and while all the sites are coming forward with all the rumors, no one knows what good old Stevy has in store for us. Are we getting the new 3G iPhone this month ? Is OSX going to be ported to PC platform and sold that way ? Is new version of OSX coming this year ? Is .Mac getting renamed to ME ? When is firmware 2.0 going to be released ? I think a lot of this questions (but I`m sure not all) will be answered on Monday at 1pm EST. I personally being with out an iPhone for the last month (sold on eBay last month)cant take it anymore, but hey something will happen on Monday and I`m sure we will be happy with what it is (yeah right, we are never happy!!!!!!!!)
