ZiPhone for 1.1.4 almost ready.
Well Check out ZiPhone.org for the latest status, but its almost ready for unlocking. Zibri also states that 1.1.4 is a debug release and no real reason to upgrade, oh well too late 🙂

iNdependence allows Jailbreak and Unlock for 1.1.4 on a MAC
iNdependence is now able to unlock and jailbreak 1.1.4 iPhone firmware. Check out this link. Good luck. Enjoy your unlocked 1.1.4 iPhones I know I do !

Installation of 1.1.4 and Jailbreak
Well as Zibri said you can jailbreak the 1.1.4 firmware, as long as you are an ATT or another legal iPhone cell phone carrier. So I went and did it. (Make sure you do restore, not the update ! and then restore from backup and reinstall apps.) Well one big improvment is the new modem firmware, which gives a noticible signal boost. I will be playing with it and if I notice something else, I will let you guys know !

ZiPhone for 1.1.4
Seems that Zibri wil release a new version of ZiPhone in few days, but to donators first here is a post from his blog:
DO NOT UPGRADE TO 1.1.4
ZiPhone will work with 1.1.4.
But I need to FULLY test it and do a few
adjustments.

Some reports of successful jailbreak on ZiPhone 2.4 and 1.1.4, I wouldnt risk it and wait few days as this is just a bug fix release.

Pwnage Install, 2.0, BootNeuter and Visual VoiceMail fix
Well I finally got a chance to install 2.0 on my iPhone, and as everyone said the leaked beta is very unstable, it crashed about 20 times in 10 minutes that I had it on my phone. I had to flash back to 1.1.4. Pwnage on the other hand seems to be working great, lots of options and lots of cool stuff. One problem that I did have was, that when you check the activate box and dont unlock, while the phone does activate you never get a signal, you actually have o activate using iTunes or unlock the baseband. If you do unlock the baseband and you are on ATT, make sure you install BootNeuter and after its done, go in it and slide the unlock slider to off, press the home button and reboot, this will make the visual voicemail work
