New iPhone unlock utility for Windows ZiPhone
This new ZiPhone utility promisses to be the easiest one to use. I haven’t tried it yet so proceed with caution. Its a GUI utility so should be very easy to use.

New servers for the Installer.app
Well as you might know, if you refresh sources in installer.app yesterday, you seen tons of new packages with strange discription prefixes. Here is the explanation. Basicly STE got new hosting servers with a little bit of ad help. The refresh times are much better now and the downloads are improved as well. I dont mine a bit of ads do you ?

Update: 1.1.3 Unlock on installer
This is just an update to the post earlier this morning. You can now do the unlock via installer just add BigBosses repo (http://sleepers.net/iphone/repo.plist) to the list of sources and you`ll get an install item, with the Geohots Gunlock Script. Hope this makes things easier

iPhone 1.1.3 Unlock is here !!!
Well the 1.1.3 unlock is here now. Seems to be an involved process and works for 1.1.2 and 1.1.3. Well actually you start of with 1.1.2 from what I can see. So enjoy the unlocking :). This unlock is by Geohot, but supported on the IRC #iPhone. Good luck.

another 1.1.3 jailbreak
This one is completely thru installer.app just refresh your sources connect to WI-FI connect power adapter push install and wait 45 minutes. Then enjoy the joys of 1.1.3 add http://ijailbreak.com/repo.plist to installer.app sources

Nate JailBreak to Break SDK apps ?
I think its a bit early to talk about this since the SDK is atleast a month away and there are no real apps yet, but good folks at iPhone Atlas are saying that it might break the installation of offical apps. Check out this POST

iPhone Dev Team not happy with Nate and mini tut for 1.1.3

It seems that Iphone dev team are not happy with Nate at all, netkas told me that Nate published this code with out consulting anyone and messed some things up since they weren’t ready yet. Well I`m using my phone jailbroken (even tough I had to activate on ATT). Just as a side note my discount is still there last time I checked, because I made my account as a secondary account and ATT FAN discount applies to primary(main) line. So for everyone out there that wants to jailbreak and cant wait be prepared ether to have non functional Gmaps, SMS and maybe other things, or you have to update to 1.1.3 via iTunes and then downgrade using this method , then upgrade all the way up to 1.1.2 and jailbreak it, then upgrade to 1.1.3 using Nates method, only then you have to copy the lockdownd to /usr/libexec/ on the IPhone, then activate on ATT. After that use bigbosses repo add it to installer (http://sleepers.net/iphonerepo) as a source and install all the fixes. Good Luck

After Jailbreak 1.1.3 Fixes
Well few things you should know after you use Nates 1.1.3 jailbreak method. Alot of things dont work but have to fear there are alot of fixes out there. First open installer go to sources and add http://sleepers.net/iphonerepo as one of the sources. Refresh sources and when you go to install, go to recent and install all the fixes needed. 1 note the pref and edge fix didnt work for me it actually broke my EDGE, but mail and other things were fixed :).
